Have I told you how much I miss cooking for more than just my husband and me? It's difficult to cut back when you are so geared toward cooking for a family and suddenly so it seems, your kids are all grown up and living lives of their own. When my kids were here and both of us held down full-time jobs, getting dinner on the table every night in a reasonable amount of time was often quite the ordeal. I received a bottle of Stirrings Bloody Mary Mix and rimmer to facilitate my review and create my cocktail recipe.  No other compensation was received. All opinions, as well as the recipe shared, is my own. Proud Mary Cocktail ~ the hair of the dog gets a make over. I associate a great Bloody Mary cocktail with two things: A good brunch and the best drink referred to as "the hair of the dog". Roasted Stuffed Tomatoes with Bacon and Cheese ~ incredible flavor and texture, easy and inexpensive and they present as a very elegant appetizer. Back in 2015 I came up with Roasted Stuffed Tomatoes for an appetizer and they tasted exquisite! One of my blogging friends actually created her own recipe because they sounded so good and told me how impressed she was with the idea. Fast forward to this year and I created a recipe I did not think could top the first one.
